For the fourth round Federer will be facing Tomas Berdych and Djokovic will play Marcus Baghdatis.
As for Andy Murray, he does not have either an easy way up, because to get to the final he will have to face many hard contenders and will need to play harder and more focused in each of the matches.
One undeniable fact is that the first Grand Slam of the season is getting very interesting and whoever wins this year’s title will have to fight hard to achieve it. It is appointed to one of the Big Four, but we will have to wait and see if the bookmakers are right or not when the winner rises the cup this year at the Australian Open.

ENGLANDS rise to No 4 in the world rankings — their highest position since the last World Cup — will be confirmed today.

It is an almighty leap from the eighth place they held at various points last year and evidence of Englands re-emergence as Europes pre-eminent nation and a genuine global force.

No wonder bookies are lining up to install Martin Johnsons team as favourites for this seasons Six Nations after a victory which will reverberate around the rugby world.

England not only beat the form side in Test rugby at Twickenham on Saturday, they savaged them. It was a record points total against the Wallabies and their joint-largest margin of victory in this fixture.

Even Johnson, the self-styled miserable manager who doggedly refuses to indulge in hyperbole, grudgingly admitted: People will take notice of that.

Indeed they will. Much as the man in charge wont like it, English expectation will be ignited by a win founded on skill, invention and nerveless daring.

Here was the proof that the hope engendered by a narrow defeat in Paris last season and enhanced by the win in Sydney is founded on real substance after all. Throw in an Anglo-Saxon version of Frances classic try from the end of the earth and suddenly the sweet chariot is hurtling forward again.

When Ben Youngs threw a dummy on his own line, he did more than set the wheels in motion for Chris Ashtons 95-metre strike that will take its place in the pantheon of great England tries. At a stroke, the young Leicester scrum-half changed age-old perceptions of what players from this country are capable of. Put simply, English players are not meant to do that.

As a home player in a Test at Twickenham, everyone expected the 21-year-old to kick the ball into the stand. No wonder Australia didnt have an answer when he broke a national habit of endless generations.

Youngs laughed when asked, tongue-in-cheek, if he is half-French, but by pulling a rabbit out of a hat like that he delivered his own piece of Gallic flair.

That particular f word is one that Johnson always takes exception to. He jokingly questions its meaning. Yet, his players showed in Saturdays Investec international that they understand the concept. They wore dark grey but dished up rugby touched by all the colours of the spectrum.

If Youngs epitomised the spirit on his way to the man-of-the-match award, every player bought into it.

Australia had braced themselves to repel an English sledgehammer, but instead they were cut to ribbons by a scalpel, wielded with precision this time, unlike in the defeat by New Zealand a week earlier.

There were more offloads in the move that led to Ashtons first try in the 24th minute than the team had delivered in all of last Novembers blighted campaign. The back-hand scoring pass from a tumbling Tom Croft was pure class.

After the break, with England leading 19-6, came the champagne moment which will be talked about for years to come.

As was the case in Sydney, they were lifted to the heights by their young guns, this time Youngs, Courtney Lawes and Ashton. The other leading nations will scrutinise this evidence of a new dawn and fear there is a storm coming.

For a spell after that second try, Australia came close to losing the plot. It took a chance interception of Nick Easters ambitious offload by Luke Burgess to set up the first of Kurtley Beales two tries, but Robbie Deanss team never looked like turning the tables.

As if Englands ambition was not enough, the Wallabies ran into a kicker in Toby Flood, who was in supreme form with all nine shots at goal finding the target.

After wins over New Zealand and Wales on successive Saturdays, the visitors were caught on the hop; out-smarted and out-manoeuvred.

shocked them, as Johnson suggested when he said: Maybe they werent expecting us to play how we did.

That is exactly what put England in control in the first place. The fact that they scored 35 points and could have had 50 is an astonishing thought.

Johnson (left) will make changes for the Samoa match, but will demand the same standards. Momentum must be maintained. Yet, briefly, he and his players can revel in a glorious conquest.
